facilitation training support
All ICA trainers are Certified Professional Facilitators, Certified ToP Facilitators, or both, with decades of experience working with clients and groups across Canada. They will demonstrate what you need to know and do to increase participation, innovation and creativity in your own group. With such a long and wide range of experience you can trust what you learn has immediate and practical application.
All our classroom and live-online courses are fully interactive so you get the best from our trainers and other participants.
If you want to take your time and learn at your own pace, most of our courses have self-directed, self-managed options. Texts, videos, assignments, case studies, examples and templates will prepare you to be the best you can be in your role as facilitator, facilitative leader, and transformational leader. Take any course or module have complete access to our learning management system for a full year. Upload assignments and facilitation experiences as texts, photos or audio visuals and track your own progress toward certification assessment.
People learn best through practice. All our classroom and live-online courses and modules have practice sessions where you try out your new facilitation skills in a safe setting with other participants.
Get immediate feedback on your skill from other participants and our experienced trainers. We want you to be successful when you work with your own team or workgroup, so in many courses you can use your own situation as a practice case study.
In Person classroom courses, from 9-5 ET, are held at our Training Room in downtown Toronto at 401 Richmond Street West, Unit 405, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5V 3A8. There is public transit directly to the building, with lots of restaurants and some hotels nearby. Our Live Online courses use Zoom and Mural, both of which can be accessed through your browser, but need high speed internet and a headset or headphones that filter out your own background noise and eliminate echo. Our Self Directed courses can be done online, and material can be downloaded to your computer, and include manuals, videos, assignments, quizzes and blogs.
All courses require you to practice with someone or a small group (course participants, family, friends, colleagues, online or offline.) We want you to be satisfied with your training courses, and we guarantee it.
Prices of two day In Person classroom (IP), Live Online scheduled (LO) and of Self Directed self-paced (SD) courses are all the same. This allows you to make your selection and change it later if you need to. The regular prices of scheduled two day courses are CDN$1,345 plus tax.
The regular price of scheduled three day courses is CDN$1,745 plus tax. Any Program bundle with multiple courses is calculated at a 20% discount from the sum of the individual courses. Canadian tax is charged according to the location of the participant.
Paying up front gives you direct access to the ICA learning management system and the course material. Paying by invoice give you access when the payment is received. ICA Associates Inc. takes credit cards and Paypal payments. Direct bank transfers can be arranged with our office.
