International Association of Facilitators

The Certified Professional Facilitator designation (CPF) is granted by the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) after a competency based test.

There are several levels of certification available from IAF.

Some people apply to become a CPF without taking courses. This can work for those with lots of facilitation experience.

The Group Facilitation Methods course provides a great backbone for all facilitation. The Meetings That Work course addresses a wide range of competencies. The Art & Science of Participation covers all other competencies and more. Facilitating Client Collaboration cover only the other required competencies.
