Lori Whiteman

Is from Tatanka Najin Dakota First Nation, in Treaty 4 Territory near Regina, Saskatchewan. For the past 25 years she has worked in educational leadership with federal and provincial education systems and non-profit organizations. Lori has built curriculum, supported school districts with continuous improvement, created community strategy and formed partnerships, engaging community stakeholders. Lori is passionate about Indigenous education, supporting leadership development and early literacy. She has had phenomenal and humbling experiences facilitating with Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers. “When people who have been oppressed or marginalized have time and space to find and share their voices, we all benefit.“
