From June to November of 2021, ICA Associates conducted 7 webinars on Operating Effectively in a Hybrid World. In the last one on November 23, we were joined by 700 people watching by live-stream in China. Altogether, over 200 participants contributed to lively conversations in Zoom breakout rooms. Their inputs were added to a Mural whiteboard.

Our goals during the webinar were to demonstrate the technology required to facilitate an effective hybrid meeting, gain insights into the challenges being faced, and help participants understand the new opportunities the hybrid meeting reality has to offer. 88% of participants thought the tools demonstrated during the webinar worked well and the content shared was valuable and timely.

Participants had many questions and insights related to: Process, Facilitation, and Technology, which were documented and answered by three of the most experienced facilitators in Canada: Helen Wythe, Dave Strong, and Robin Parsons, all ICA Associates and Trainers.

Here are some of the opportunities Hybrid Meetings offer organizations which participants shared:

Recognizing the importance of mastering Hybrid Meeting process, facilitation and technology, ICA Associates is working on a half-day session on Hybrid Meetings. We will keep you posted with more information about the course, and an opportunity for early registration.

ICA Associates are consultants and facilitators. Given our global reach we look forward to being on the forefront of Hybrid Meetings as they evolve, and like you, we are embracing it as an opportunity. We are standing on the edge of the wedgeblade and open to the possibilities Hybrid Meetings will bring to allow us to work even better in the future. We’ve learned so much to date and a year from now, two years from now we will learn even more.
