Getting to ICA in Toronto -
655 Queen Street East

Take Public Transit (TTC) to ICA

Cash fare is $3.00 - 10 tokens cost $25 – 5 for $12.50.

Get a transfer  - from the red transfer machines when you enter the subway.

Transfers are mandatory as "Proof of Purchase - POP" on some bus and street car route,. On those routes, the driver will give you one as you enter the streetcar or bus. On other routes you have to ask for a transfer when you get on the bus or street car.

If you need assistance, ask a driver or a ticket agent. TTC route maps are available from any subway station. Download Route Maps at http://www.city.toronto.on.ca/ttc/schedules/

From Union Station - downtown

  • Take the Yonge Subway north to King Street - 1 stop - 3 minutes
  • Exit the subway and go up to King Street. Be sure you are on the south side of the street at the streetcar stop. You may have to ask someone if you’re not sure.
  • Take the 504 streetcar east to Carroll. – just past the Don River bridge - About 12 minutes

From Uptown locations – North of downtown

  • Take the Bloor-Danforth subway to Broadview Station.
  • Take the 504 Streetcar - West - and disembark at Queen Street. About. 5 minutes

From the East

  • Take the Queen Street Streetcar - #501 - Westbound
  • Get off at the next stop west of Broadview.

Driving to ICA

From the west - - Hwy 401East bound - - or - - QEW from Niagara - Hamilton

  • Follow the signs to the Gardiner Expressway East.
  • Take the Jarvis exit onto Lakeshore Blvd. East.
  • Turn Left (N) onto Parliament Street.
  • Turn Right (E) onto Queen Street - ICA is just over the Don River Bridge at 655
  • Turn left (N) on Broadview to get to the City of Toronto Parking Lot

From Scarborough, Durham & East - avoid the often slow Don Valley Parkway

  • Take 401 West bound
  • Exit onto Kingston Road – the exit is in Pickering
  • Continue through Scarborough and across Victoria Park Avenue into Toronto
  • Kingston Road becomes Eastern Ave. when you cross Queen St.
  • Turn right – north onto Broadview

Parking

  • The City of Toronto Parking lot is at 111 Broadview.
  • It on the east side of Broadview in the first block north of Queen Street
  • Parking is $4 per day.
  • ICA’s office is just west of Broadview on Queen Street.
  • Do not park on the side streets in our neighbourhood. You will certainly get a ticket and your car may be towed.
